Punch every stitch by hand
No auto-tracing, no batch presets. A person sets each underlay, density and stitch direction so the file runs the way it was meant to.
Our story
StitchProof is a small studio built on one promise: punch every embroidery file by hand, and prove it on real cloth before it ever ships. No auto-tracing, no guesswork — just clean stitch files from people who have spent their lives reading underlay, density and the way a needle pushes fabric.

From a garage bench
Reza Halloran came up running a commercial six-head — long shifts, tight color changes, and the particular heartbreak of a 5,000-piece run that fills in at the small text. He learned the craft the way you learn it on a shop floor: by ripping out bad sew-outs and re-hooping until they ran clean.
When auto-digitizing software arrived, it promised to do in seconds what took him an hour. What it actually did was guess at stitch direction and density — so fabric puckered, satins rippled, and anything under a quarter-inch turned to mush. He spent more time fixing those files than punching from scratch.
So in 2009 he set up a single used machine in a one-car garage and started taking in other shops' overflow, on one condition: he would punch every file by hand and stitch a real sample before sending it back. The proof was always the cloth, never the screen. That habit became the name.
A render never puckered. Fabric tells the truth — so we sew it first.
What we hold to
no shortcuts, no auto-punch
No auto-tracing, no batch presets. A person sets each underlay, density and stitch direction so the file runs the way it was meant to.
Every design gets hooped and sewn on a real machine. You approve a photo of the actual sew-out — never a render that hides puckering or fill-in.
Quotes, questions and revisions get a real reply fast — usually inside sixty minutes. We run across time zones so the machine never sleeps.
Your files stay yours. We clean up the art, flag what will not stitch at size, and keep a tidy archive so a reorder is one email away.
A stitched timeline
One used single-head machine, a borrowed laptop and a stubborn refusal to ship a file that puckered.
Word spread among contract shops. We built the sew-out proof into every order — the habit that became our name.
Structured fronts, center-out sequencing and foam-ready paths for raised lettering that holds its edge.
We promised most files back inside a day, with free edits until the design runs clean on your hardware.
A relay of digitizers means your art is on a bench whether you send it at noon or 2 a.m.
From a garage to shops in 38 countries — still punching every stitch by hand, still proving it on cloth.

How we work
The person who reads your art is the person who punches it and watches it sew. Nothing gets lost in a hand-off.
We tune underlay, density and push-pull compensation to your fabric, then stitch a sample and send you the photo.
If a satin needs tightening or small text wants a trim cleaned up, we fix it. Revisions on a digitized file are always free.
Bring us the art
Send any file — even a phone photo of an old patch. You'll get a free quote in under an hour and a real sew-out photo before you approve a thing.
